Last weekend, we went on a trip to Panama. We landed at Tocumen International Airport where we spent a couple of days. Tocumen is a wonderful city in Panama Province. It provides a distinct experience to its tourists.
We stayed at Crowne Plaza airport which is 200 meters away from the Tocumen International airport and offers a free shuttle service. After some refreshment, we went to Air Margaritaville. There we had a club sandwich, French fries, Greek Salad, and shrimp appie. Afterward, we went to Metromall that had loads of variety of clothes, accessories and more. The mall was quite spacious and clean.
From there, we went to visit Ancon Hill. We got a beautiful sight of Panama Bay from there and even of the city. It is the highest point in the city. It is about 700 feet above sea level. We then went to Casco Viejo where we learned a lot. The streets there were narrow. They depicted a lot about history. It is also recognized as the Old Town. It has been declared the world heritage by UNESCO.
Then we went to Miraflores Restaurant where we had a small bite of pastries and coffee. Then we went to visit the Panama Canal at Miraflores Locks. We enjoyed boating there. We even got to know about one of the eight wonders of the world. On our way back to the hotel, we stopped by at Pollo Tropical for dinner. We had mixes of salads, chicken, and rice. The best thing was plantains, patacones, and yuca. We tremendously enjoyed our food.
The next morning we went to The Coffee Bean and Leaf, where we had some coffee and croissants. Finally, we ended our trip. It was quite an enjoyable trip.
